When I discovered that the £5.99 bear was already worth £30 on the secondary market, collecting suddenly became exhilarating. Growing up on the British benefit system, these affordable collectibles opened doors I never imagined and, over the next 26 years, became the foundation that supported countless projects and an unbelievable life. From working with celebrities to living in Hollywood.

As an adult, I had the chance to work with the very brand I fell in love with as a child, engaging with their customers and collectors, pitching designs and poems, and helping create limited editions that would go on to soar in value. My proudest, full-circle moment was successfully pitching a memorial bear for Queen Elizabeth II, writing the accompanying poem, and developing an additional limited-edition tag spin-off".
